A bright, traditionally inspired first-floor renovation shaped by thoughtful and intentional design, The Georgia reimagined a highly structured home through cohesion, clarity, and livability. This renovation spanned the kitchen, dining room, mudroom, powder room, family room, piano room, and an upstairs primary bathroom. This project carefully balances architectural limitations with refined problem-solving. Rather than relying on major structural changes, the design focused on reworking existing spaces to improve function and flow. Rooms were consolidated and reassigned to better support the rhythms of everyday life for a busy family of six, allowing each space to serve a clear and purposeful role within the home.

The kitchen and adjacent living areas were refined to feel light, open, and connected, while maintaining the home’s original framework. Inspired by a clean and classic aesthetic, the interiors draw from bright and elegant sensibility - timeless in spirit yet fresh in execution. A palette of soft blues, pale wood tones, and white bring warmth and personality throughout, while durable materials and marble surfaces were thoughtfully selected to withstand daily life without sacrificing beauty.
